Nelson Exteriors, an award-winning remodeling company, is looking for a detail-oriented AP/Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our company by ensuring accurate payroll, timely payments, and proper job costing. If you love working behind the scenes to support a team and keep everything running seamlessly, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll by accurately tracking employee hours, wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
• Handle accounts payable, including acquiring, verifying, and processing invoices to ensure vendors and subcontractors are paid on time.
• Assist in reconciling accounts with the accountant and resolving any discrepancies.
• Track job-related costs and ensure financial accuracy for each project.
• Ensure payroll, garnishments, and benefits distribution align with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and facilitate insurance audits.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and vendors.
• Work closely with project managers and the operations team to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience as an AP/Payroll Specialist or Payroll Manager
• Highly proficient in Google Suite and payroll software
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits, garnishments, and compliance
• Trustworthy with high integrity

Compensation and Benefits:

• Full Time Position
• Competitive pay up to $70,000 per year
