Role snapshot

You’ll own a portfolio of clients end-to-end: build trusted relationships, translate goals into sharp SEO/SEM strategies, and drive delivery with our production team on time and on budget. You’re equally comfortable in a client presentation and inside GA4, Google Ads, and Search Console. You keep projects moving, people aligned, and results transparent.

What you'll do

Client leadership

· Serve as primary point of contact; run weekly status calls, QBRs, and roadmapping.

· Translate business goals into channel plans, briefs, and measurable success metrics.

· Manage scope, budgets, approvals, and change requests; protect margin while adding value.

SEO ownership (hands-on + direction)

· Lead audits (technical, on-page, content, authority) and prioritize a quarterly backlog.

· Guide keyword strategy, IA, on-page optimization, internal linking, and schema.

· Partner with developers on technical fixes (Core Web Vitals, crawl/indexation, redirects).

SEM ownership (hands-on )

· Build and optimize Google/Amazon: search, performance max, shopping, remarketing.

· Own budgets, pacing, targeting, bidding, ad copy/testing, and conversion quality.

· Implement robust measurement: conversion tracking, enhanced conversions, audiences.

Production & project management

· Create statements of work, timelines, resourcing plans, and sprint boards.

· Direct daily work of designers, writers, SEO/SEM specialists, and developers.

· Run standups, clear blockers, QA deliverables, and ensure on-time handoffs.

Analytics & reporting

· Define KPIs and scorecards; deliver clear, insight-driven monthly/quarterly reports.

· Build Looker Studio dashboards; monitor trends and recommend experiments (A/B tests, CRO).

· Forecast results and contribute to quarterly/annual planning.

What you've done

· 3–6+ years in a digital agency or similar client-facing role managing retainers/projects.

· Demonstrated hands-on SEO (technical + content) and SEM (strategy + execution).

· Proven record managing production teams and complex timelines across multiple accounts.

Tools you know

· Analytics & tracking: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console.

· Ads: Google Ads, Amazon Advertising.

· SEO: Screaming Frog, Semrush/Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse.

· Dashboards & PM: Looker Studio, Sheets/Excel; Asana/Jira/ClickUp; Slack.

· Web: CMS (WordPress or similar); working knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.

Skills & traits

· Client-facing communicator who can turn data into decisions and next steps.

· Organized operator: scopes, timelines, and resourcing are second nature.

· Analytical and experimental: builds hypotheses, tests, and iterates.

· Calm under pressure; proactive with risks and blockers.

· Clear writer and presenter; comfortable with C-suite and in-the-weeds details.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
