Position Overview

We are looking for an Account Manager / Digital Marketing Manager to own a book of client accounts. The right person is the single point of contact for those clients — running monthly check-ins, reporting on performance, identifying opportunities to grow each account, and coordinating execution with our internal performance marketing, search, content, and design teams.

This is a hands-on, cross-discipline role. You will not be a specialist in any one area, but you need real working experience across paid advertising, SEO and AI search visibility, and websites — enough to have a real strategic conversation with a client, recommend the right next step, and roll up your sleeves when the account calls for it.

Both experienced practitioners and earlier-career candidates with the right hands-on background are welcome to apply. Strong performance opens real growth paths inside the company.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of client accounts as their primary point of contact
  • Run scheduled monthly or bi-monthly client check-ins — proof-led, real performance conversations
  • Deliver clear performance and visibility reporting and explain what the numbers mean in plain English
  • Identify client needs and propose the right next services based on real gaps across paid, search/AEO, web, content, and reputation
  • Drive account retention, expansion, and renewal
  • Coordinate execution with internal performance marketing, search/AEO, content, and design teams
  • Surface at-risk accounts early and reach out before they churn
  • Resolve client issues directly when possible; escalate cleanly when needed
  • Keep accurate account notes, activity history, and pipeline status in the CRM
  • Stay current on what is changing in digital marketing — particularly AI-driven search — and bring it into client conversations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of digital marketing, account management, or agency client services experience
  • Hands-on working experience with Google Ads — building, managing, and optimizing real campaigns
  • Hands-on working experience with Meta Ads (Facebook / Instagram) — building, managing, and optimizing real campaigns
  • Working knowledge of SEO, local search, and AI search visibility
  • Familiarity with websites, landing pages, and conversion-focused funnels
  • Comfortable reading data, building simple reports, and explaining trends in plain English
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to clients
  • Organized; able to manage a book of accounts without dropping details
  • Comfortable having honest conversations with clients — good news and bad news

Preferred

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, agency account management, or a similar client-facing role
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
  • Experience with answer-engine and AI-search optimization beyond standard SEO
  • Direct experience producing or managing client websites
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and reporting tools
  • Google Ads, Analytics, Meta, or similar certifications
  • Multi-brand agency or lead-generation industry experience
