About the role
We are a growing digital marketing agency looking for an Account Manager with hands-on experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. The ideal candidate will manage client accounts end-to-end, develop and optimize SEO and paid search strategies, and build strong client relationships while driving measurable results across multiple channels. This is a remote role with US-based clients, requiring alignment to Pacific Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow client accounts with a focus on SEO and PPC campaigns
- Plan, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns
- Develop SEO recommendations and collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve organic visibility
- Analyze performance metrics, generate clear reports, and communicate insights to clients
- Kick off projects, set expectations, and manage ongoing communications with clients
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and improve client ROI
- Onboard new clients, maintain CRM/ERP records, and ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain a strong client-first approach, manage expectations, and resolve issues
- Stay current on industry trends and platform updates to continuously improve strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in SEO and PPC/digital advertising (Google Ads, YouTube ads, Meta/Facebook ads)
- Strong understanding of search marketing, campaign setup, optimization, and reporting
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems and analytics/reporting tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-management skills
- Ability to work remotely with US-based clients and align with Pacific Time hours
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple client projects concurrently
Preferred
- Experience with proposal development and presenting marketing strategies to clients
- Familiarity with a variety of digital channels beyond PPC (content marketing, email, etc.)
- Prior agency experience and B2B account management
