We are a well-established, 40-year-old employee benefits firm seeking a proactive and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in client service, benefits analysis, and independent account management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a dedicated block of business and support employee benefit prospects.
- Assist with quarterly, mid-year, and renewal meetings.
- Provide prompt client support, working directly with HR teams on ACA, compliance, and plan administration questions.
- Assist and manage marketing/RFPs for fully insured and alternative funding groups.
- Assist Broker with proposals, attend client meetings, and support presentations.
- Coordinate open enrollments and conduct/assist with employee meetings.
- Build and maintain client plans in Employee Navigator and manage workflow, notes, and policy data.
- Collaborate with our data analyst on renewal audits.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and recommend plan strategies.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, Section 125, FSA, HRA, HSA, ERISA, and general benefits compliance.
- Expertise in core and ancillary benefit products and funding methods.
Requirements
- Current TX Life & Health Group 1 License is required.
- 3+ years’ experience in an agency or broker environment.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
