Account Manager - Enrolled Agent

ATS Consulting is currently seeking a resourceful and dedicated enrolled agent to join our team as an account manager for small business clients within the greater Orange County area. As an account manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining strong client relationships while overseeing their tax, bookkeeping and business-related needs. Your primary duties will include managing client accounts, conducting tax consultations, completing tax returns, reviewing financial statements, doing high level adjustments and bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations for all local, state and federal tax agencies. Qualifications:

• You are an enrolled agent with an active PTIN with at least three (3) years of experience serving as a tax advisor for businesses, with an understanding of local CA tax regulations.
• You have (3) years of experience with cash basis accounting for small businesses
• You know the differences between types of business entities and elections, and the tax issues relating to them.
• You have (3) years of experience preparing tax returns for all types of business and individuals.
• You have payroll and sales tax knowledge as applicable to businesses.
• You have a solid understanding of tax accounting principles and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional client service.
• You are comfortable interacting over video and chat and are comfortable with technology, including remote desktop, Zoom, UltraTax, Quickbooks and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for building relationships and breaking down tax concepts so your clients can understand and succeed.

License/Certification:

• Enrolled Agent IRS designation (required)
• QBO/QB Desktop Certification (preferred)
• Accounting degree and/or certificates (preferred)

Language: Bilingual: Spanish (preferred)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
