About the Role
This is a client-facing, revenue-producing Account Manager role responsible for:
- Managing client relationships
- Identifying and selling enhancement opportunities
- Estimating work
- Ensuring quality service delivery
This is a hybrid role — not purely sales and not purely operations.
If you prefer only sales OR only operations, this is not the right fit.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Account Management (Client Relationships)
- Manage a portfolio of HOA and commercial landscape accounts
- Perform regular property walks and identify issues or improvements
- Build strong relationships with property managers and board members
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention
Sales & Enhancements
- Identify and sell enhancement opportunities (planting, irrigation, upgrades, etc.)
- Prepare and present proposals to clients
- Follow up consistently to close work
- Support contract renewals and upsells
Estimating & Coordination
- Prepare accurate estimates using company templates
- Coordinate with field teams on scheduling and execution
- Monitor job quality and ensure work meets expectations
What We’re Looking For (IMPORTANT)
Must Have:
- 5+ years in landscape account management, estimating, or similar role
- Experience working directly with HOA or commercial clients
- Proven ability to sell enhancement work or upsell services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple properties and priorities
Nice to Have:
- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience with estimating or CRM systems (we are implementing BOSS)

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $85,000–$95,000 DOE
- Commission:
- 2% on enhancement and new contract sales
- 3% after one year
- Medical: Employer-paid Kaiser plan (employee) after 60 days
