Account Manager – Security Operations

Marina Security Services is a minority-owned and operated firm specializing in security services. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to lead operations for a prestigious, community-oriented client overseeing a large outdoor event and recreational venue. This site hosts numerous high-profile national and global events throughout the year and requires a leader who can balance professionalism, adaptability, and strong community engagement.

The Account Manager will oversee all aspects of the security program, including special event coordination, daily officer operations, and emergency response management. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, the community, and a diverse team of security officers—fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site leadership position requiring a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security officers across multiple shifts.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with client expectations and company standards.
  • Coordinate and support special events, including large-scale community gatherings and high-profile functions.
  • Manage emergency response protocols and serve as a primary liaison during incidents.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews to maintain the highest levels of service.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with client representatives, community partners, and local agencies.
  • Develop and monitor site-specific KPIs, training initiatives, and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, event security, or public safety.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing operational needs to support ongoing operations and maintain high service quality.
  • Experience working with community organizations, local government, Law Enforcement or event venues is a plus.
  • Valid BSIS Guard Card (required); additional certifications such as CPR/First Aid, CPI, or Emergency Management are preferred.
