Territory Sales Manager - Fuel, Lubricants & Propane Division

Professional Sales Opportunity | Regional Territory

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished sales professional to join our organization as a Territory Sales Manager for our Short Truck Fuel, Lubricants, and Propane Division. This position is responsible for new business development, account management, and revenue growth within an assigned regional territory.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in B2B sales, possess strong business acumen, and exhibit the professionalism required to represent our organization in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customer accounts through systematic outbound sales activities
  • Execute a minimum of 50 cold calls per week to generate qualified leads
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent weekly activity reporting
  • Present comprehensive product offerings including fuel, lubricants, propane, and related services

Account Management & Customer Relations

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with existing customers to assess performance, identify opportunities, and ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain a minimum of two customer touchpoints per week with existing accounts
  • Prepare customer evaluation documentation for internal review boards
  • Coordinate with Bulk Plant Managers and operational teams to resolve service issues and optimize customer experience

Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and annual gross profit targets and sales objectives
  • Provide detailed weekly activity reports to the Sales Manager
  • Participate in monthly scorecard reviews at corporate headquarters
  • Engage in weekly one-on-one meetings with Senior Director for performance tracking and strategic planning

Professional Representation:

  • Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
  • Participate in required safety training and professional development seminars
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism in all customer and internal interactions

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience, OR
  • 3+ years of documented success in professional sales

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
