Account Manager - Third Party Collections

Overview:

We are seeking a driven and professional Account Manger to join our growing team in Hutchinson, Kansas. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a performance-based environment. As an Account Manager, you will work with Consumers to recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of third-party collection accounts across multiple client verticals
• Handle inbound and outbound calls telephone calls and other approved communication channels to resolve outstanding debt obligations
• Negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and resolution strategies based on consumer circumstances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all account activity, communications, and payment agreements on company and/or client systems
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
• Ensure strict adherence to all compliance requirements, including FDCPA and applicable state laws
• Collaborate with internal teams to support account resolution and client expectations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in collections, call center, or account management preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and active listening skills
• Ability to manage challenging conversations with professionalism and composure
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting performance goals
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems

Compensation:

Base Salary: $16.00 – $20.00 hourly based on experience + performance incentives

• Incentives: Competitive, uncapped bonus structure tied to individual performance
