Job Responsibilities – Accounts Receivables Executive
1. Receivables Management
- Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring timely recording of all debit/credit notes, and adjustments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection in line with company credit terms.
- Prepare and issue customer account statements and follow up for payments through calls, emails, and coordination with the sales team.
2. Credit Control & Customer Coordination
- Evaluate customer credit limits in coordination with finance management and sales.
- Track overdue accounts and escalate high-risk cases with recommendations for action.
3. Reconciliations & Reporting
- Perform regular customer ledger reconciliations and ensure accurate balances.
- Reconcile receivables with bank deposits, cash collections, and sales ledgers.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly AR aging reports and highlight variances or risks.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain updated records required for audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance (including sales tax and withholding tax where applicable).
- Assist in implementing and improving AR processes, internal controls, and ERP usage.
5. Coordination with Internal Departments
- Work closely with the Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of sales, delivery records, and customer balances.
- Assist in cashflow forecasting by providing accurate receivables projections.
- Support management with reports and analysis related to customer performance, collections, and credit exposure.
Eligibility Criteria
Education, Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- ACCA Part-Qualified or ICMA/CA (intermediate) preferred.
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting will be an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivables, preferably in food, pharmaceutical, chemicals.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, reconciliations, GST/Sales Tax, and WHT.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Age not more than 28 years.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
