PURPOSE
The Account Specialist will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for the coordination, planning, scheduling strategizing and communicating project tasks and recurring marketing tasks for assigned accounts. This person is responsible for daily client communication, timeline identification internally and externally, digital deliverable creation oversight and monthly analytics reporting. The Account Specialist will work closely with all agency departments to ensure that client expectations and project scopes are aligned across all departments and will work with the Operations Director to identify instances in which scope creep could affect a project budget or timeline.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· This role is performed in-office at our Grandview location
· Main point of contact for assigned accounts ensuring that communication flows accurately and effectively
· Manages the day-to-day strategy, execution and oversight of all digital deliverables for assigned accounts
· Develops a thorough understanding of client’s businesses and competitive environments
· Demonstrates a proficient understanding in strategizing, executing and reporting across the following digital marketing channels including but not limited to:
o UX Design best practices
o Ecommerce Best Practices and conversion strategies
o SEO
o Paid Search Management (Google Ads & Facebook Ads)
o Content Marketing
o Paid Social Media
o Email Marketing
o Website Content Management Systems
o Lead Management Systems & CRMs
o Google Analytics & Reporting
· Ensures that digital promotions created on behalf of assigned clients are scheduled effectively across each agency department
· Quality Assurance:
o Responsible for the quality assurance of each phase of a project, and each deliverable created on behalf of a client
· Effectively manages agency resources as it relates to project budgets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or another related field preferred
· 1+ years of previous experience in an advertising agency setting or similar environment preferred
· Experience in supporting integrated digital advertising campaigns
· Experience managing multiple projects at once and coordinating projects with multiple departments and agency staff members
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
· Maintains awareness and understanding of new marketing and communications technologies and techniques
· Effective time management
· Google Analytics Certification (basic)
· Google AdWords Certification (basic)
· Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations both internally (project-based) and externally (client based)
· Excellent presentation and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Entrepreneurial spirit a must
· Ability to think quickly on your feet and provide solutions for assigned accounts
· Must meet all pre-and post-employment requirements, which may include but not limited to background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle review
· Experience in brick-and-mortar retail management experience is a plus
PROGRAMS AND SOFTWARE:
