Account Supervisor
Overview
The Account Supervisor (AS) is a primary client liaison. The AS will also contribute to the growth and development of the
team. Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:Client Engagement- Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships
- Identify growth opportunities and develop proposals and budgets with leadership
- Lead and/or support calls with client and MLR, faculty, and/or content experts regarding content and direction
- Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded and provide direction to the support team on all
aspects of project management, overall project plan, objectives, achievements, and deliverables
- Provide strategic and tactical insights to clients
- Stay updated on client products, industry trends, and market changes
- Leverage the Petauri core values in all interactions by fostering a culture of leadership, partnership,
professionalism, innovation, integrity, accountability and quality
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Assist team to support the development of new business initiatives, identifying opportunities for organic growth
within your assigned account (as requested)
- Manage team communications and project status updates
- Act as the lead contact for assigned client projects
- Review status/contact reports to client after each client contact
- Serve as a role model for junior account staff
- Support client service efforts by handling projects, collaborating with internal teams (project management,
creative, etc.) to develop timelines, communicate achievements and identify possible red flags in projects
- Lead internal meetings across departments and other key personnel to discuss project status as required
- Drive the daily activities of a project by overseeing project scope, changes, and roadblocks within timelines and
budgets
- Coordinate strategic and business planning meetings with key stakeholders
Financials- Manage projects by leveraging approved internal project briefs, proposal templates, and budget tools
- Develop client proposals, budgets and reconciliations and monitor budget including direct and labor costs;
checking for out of scope items and hours
- Partners with relevant team members to meet financial deliverable dates for estimates, invoices, and budgets
Leadership- Depending on size of team, potential for management and supervision of colleagues
- Conduct performance reviews, prepare development plan, and set goals for direct reports as applicable
Process- Understand and operate within established client and agency processes
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, communications, or related field; or the equivalent
combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical agency experience including the MLR process, (medical-legal-regulatory) review
and direct client contact and experience in writing SOWs and project briefs
- Hands on experience with clients’ on-line submission systems (i.e., Veeva) for medical-legal-regulatory reviews
- Pharmaceutical drug launch experience (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Digital project management system experience
- Ability to travel for onsite meetings (as requested)
