Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant with at least 2-3 years of proven experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
• Manage general ledger entries and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international accounting standards.
• Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a general accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
