Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and assisting in budget preparation to support the organization’s financial health and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Taxation & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, GST, or other relevant tax returns.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices and payments.
• Manage client invoicing and follow up on receivables.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor variances and report deviations from budgets.

5. Audit Support:

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.
• Ensure proper record-keeping and adherence to audit requirements.

6. Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies.

7. Financial Analysis:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Conduct cost analysis and efficiency improvement reviews.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
