Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Process payroll in compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
• Monitor and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flows.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Assist in preparing financial audits and liaising with auditors.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes.
• Provide timely financial reports and insights to management.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE with another accounting firm.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or Odoo) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of VAT compliance and UAE accounting standards.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
