Job Profile & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivables
  • Tally, Bookkeeping and financial records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including Value Added Tax (VAT) filings and the new corporate tax law.
  • Auditing and controls: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Payroll: Manage monthly payroll processing and handle end-of-service settlements in accordance with UAE labor law.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Asset management: Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.

Required qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Some companies may prefer a Master's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 Years in same field
  • Technical knowledge: Strong proficiency in accounting software Tally is essential. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) are also required.
  • Regulatory understanding: In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE financial regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax, is necessary.

  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain financial information to stakeholders.

  • Integrity: High standards of professionalism, ethics, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Industry experience: Experience in specific sectors like real estate, construction, or retail can be a significant advantage.
