Job Profile & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivables
- Tally, Bookkeeping and financial records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including Value Added Tax (VAT) filings and the new corporate tax law.
- Auditing and controls: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Payroll: Manage monthly payroll processing and handle end-of-service settlements in accordance with UAE labor law.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Asset management: Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
Required qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Some companies may prefer a Master's degree.
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 Years in same field
- Technical knowledge: Strong proficiency in accounting software Tally is essential. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) are also required.
- Regulatory understanding: In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE financial regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax, is necessary.
