Accountant

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Accounting & Book keeping:

  • Full-cycle expense data and supplier payment entries into PACT
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and conduct supplier reconciliations
  • Perform bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain the general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Assist with month-end close and yearly audits
  • Ensure financial records comply with regulations and internal policies

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Process AP & AR transactions with timely payments and collections
  • Prepare aging reports, coordinate collections, and confirm accuracy of received payments

Tax & Compliance:

  • Prepare accurate tax filings and manage documentation
  • Stay updated on tax laws and compliance obligations

Ad Hoc & Administrative:

  • Handle miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Head of Finance
  • Assist in preparation of service invoices, payment confirmations, client/vendor reconciliations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting (preferably in construction or contracting)
  • Knowledge of PACT ERP
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or CPA
  • Audit experience and ability to analyze audit reports
  • Experience with project based accounting
  • Knowledge of UAE tax laws, filing, and reporting
