Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in jewellery manufacturing accounting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with both Busy Accounting Software and Gati Jewellery Software, capable of managing end-to-end accounts, inventory, costing, and statutory compliance for gold and diamond jewellery operations. --- Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, payments, receipts, and journal entries. Maintain accurate inventory records of gold, diamonds, and findings using Gati software. Prepare daily stock reports, issue vouchers, and reconcile material movement between departments (casting, setting, polishing, etc.). Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings on time. Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers regularly. Generate MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and management summaries. Coordinate with auditors for annual and internal audits. Track job work and wastage reports to ensure accurate costing. Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and inventory data. --- Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in a jewellery manufacturing firm (gold/diamond). Proficiency in Busy Accounting Software and Gati Jewellery Software — mandatory. Strong understanding of jewellery costing, metal accounting, and job work entries. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax compliance. Excellent skills in MS Excel and data accuracy. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. Good communication and documentation skills.
