Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (including VAT), and support the financial health of our uniform manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the manufacturing sector, especially in cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (Focus ERP).
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, petty cash, and journal entries.
• Monitor inventory costs, including raw material and finished goods, and conduct periodic stock audits.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).
• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and compliance with FTA regulations.
• Support payroll processing and ensure proper accounting of employee benefits and end-of-service gratuity.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers as required.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts, if applicable.
• Implement and follow internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or production industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, onsite role.
• Based in our production facility/office in Dubai.
• 6-day work week (as per UAE labor standards in manufacturing).
