Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of Storyloom Manufacturing. This includes maintaining books of accounts, handling petty cash, preparing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting knowledge and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily accounting entries in compliance with standard accounting practices.
  • Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate records.
  • Prepare and verify bills, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
  • Handle vendor and supplier payments, ensuring timely settlements.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions, expenses, and sales entries.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and expense reports.
  • Coordinate with the management for budget tracking and cost control.
  • Maintain organized files of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or garment unit.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
  • Good understanding of GST, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
