Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of UAE experience and a strong background in VAT filing, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Handle VAT computations, return preparation, and submission.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and related processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

• Experience using Zoho Books or other cloud-based accounting systems.
• Available to join immediately or within short notice.
