Principal Accountabilities
- Oversee and manage comprehensive accounting, audit, tax, and payroll engagements for clients across multiple jurisdictions (including Korea, Indonesia, Labuan, and Malaysia), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate and complete Financial Statements, Tax Computations, and other accounting deliverables in accordance with local accounting and reporting standards.
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory, tax, and legal obligations for multinational clients.
- Assist with the incorporation, re-domiciliation, restructuring, and deregistration of entities in Malaysia and other jurisdictions.
- Support clients with bank account openings and other corporate administrative requirements.
- Develop detailed engagement strategy documents for complex projects, including clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Draft clear, professional correspondence and maintain high communication standards with clients.
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and multinational suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date internal databases and status reports for all accounting and tax engagements.
Core Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, audit (external/internal), or tax services
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred)
- Solid understanding of Corporate regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Multilingual skills (e.g. Chinese, German, Spanish, Arabic, Russian) are a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
