Job Summary
An Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, and supporting audits and compliance. The role ensures smooth financial operations and helps the organization maintain financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, ledgers, and accounting records.
- Handle accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (customer payments).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and cross-check all financial entries.
- Process invoices, bills, and receipts accurately.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory filings (if applicable).
- Support payroll processing and maintain employee financial records.
- Use accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.) efficiently.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and general finance rules.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com/BBA) or related field.
- M.Com/MBA in Finance is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications preferred (optional but valuable):
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA
- Diploma in Accounting / GST / Tally Certification
Experience
- 0–2 years for entry-level positions.
- 2–5 years for mid-level roles with experience in accounting, auditing, GST, and TDS.
Work Environment
- Works closely with finance teams, auditors, management, and vendors.
- Office-based job involving reports, document verification, and data entry.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
