Accountant

Good Hand Stones and Concrete Flooring LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and UAE experienced Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations and ensure compliance with all accounting and tax regulations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and VAT submission, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

A. Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. This role involves preparing financial reports and statements, performing bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. The successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen, contributing to our organization’s overall financial health and success.

B. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle VAT submission and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Conduct cyclical audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and generate reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and support business decisions.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings when necessary.
• Provide insights into financial performance and recommend process improvements.

C. Skills & Qualification

• Hands-on experience with ERP software is essential.
• Proven experience working with Odoo ERP is a must-have.
• Should be knowledgeable in VAT submission and hold an SSE certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Should have minimum 3 years of UAE experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and auditing processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Business acumen and the ability to contribute to strategic financial decision-making.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Note: Working knowledge of Odoo is must as the platform is central to our workflow and daily business processes. Only candidates with proven Odoo experience will be considered. Others will be automatically disqualified from the selection process.
