Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to manage all financial and accounting functions related to property transactions, client accounts, and company operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE property regulations, ensuring accurate records and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records for all real estate transactions, including sales, leasing, and property management.

Record, reconcile, and report all income and expenses related to properties.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.

Process commission payments for agents and track outstanding payments.

Monitor escrow accounts, deposits, and refunds related to property deals.

Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company policies.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Coordinate with auditors, management, and external stakeholders as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

Strong understanding of real estate transactions, commissions, and property finance.

Proficient in accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with real estate agencies, property developers, or brokerage firms.

Knowledge of RERA/DLD financial documentation and VAT filing.

Ability to manage multiple property accounts simultaneously.
