Core responsibilities
- Financial record-keeping: Organizing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Financial reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements, such as monthly and annual accounts, and providing reports on financial performance to management.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
- Auditing and compliance: Conducting internal audits, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws.
- Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and make recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit.
