Accountant

Rishav Jain & Associates is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing firm. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the firm’s tax and compliance functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance filings.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage payroll accounting.
• Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.
• Support the preparation and review of client financial reports and tax filings.
• Coordinate with clients for any required documentation or clarification.
• Assist in direct tax compliance and litigation support as required.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a CA firm.
• Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Good communication skills and a client-service mindset.
