Job Summary
The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. This role supports the finance team with accurate record-keeping, reconciliations, and audit preparations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records including ledgers, journals, and general ledger entries.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
- Conduct bank and account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and financial statement preparation.
- Support tax filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve financial queries.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial or corporate environments.
- Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
