Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the financial health of our organization. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate financial records, prepare comprehensive reports, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Oversee accounts reconciliation processes using accounting software.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform management decisions.
• Handle regulatory reporting requirements related to governmental accounting and securities law.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and manage tax experience related to Sales Tax and income tax
• Perform cash flow analysis, bank reconciliations, and manage payroll processes.
• Support financial report writing and interpretation to provide clear insights into organizational performance.
• Mentor junior team members in technical accounting practices, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting or non-profit accounting environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts.
• Proficiency with accounting software and experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Ability to perform detailed account analysis, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation accurately.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial management and forecasting capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
