Key responsibilities
- Financial reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Record keeping: Record all financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and ensure financial records are accurate.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and assist in creating forecasts.
- Tax compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, review for tax compliance, and advise on ways to minimize tax liability.
- Auditing: Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Accounts management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, and process payroll.
- Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Advisory services: Advise management on financial matters to support long-term goals.
