Accountant

Company Overview

Our company is a IT Hardware manufacturer and distributor in Bengaluru India. We are expanding our team in our Bangalore office and are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage our daily financial operations.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience with company accounting, including bookkeeping and GST, using Tally ERP or Zoho Books software. The role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with all tax regulations. Experience with accounting and auditing of e-commerce seller accounts (Amazon/Flipkart) is an added advantage. Proficiency in English and Kannada is required, and knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform all aspects of bookkeeping and daily financial record-keeping using either Tally ERP or Zoho Books.

· Handle the end-to-end process for Goods and Services Tax (GST), including filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.

· Manage and process financial documents such as credit notes, debit notes, and delivery challans.

· Oversee the generation and reconciliation of e-way bills for the movement of goods.

· Perform bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

· Support financial statement preparation and assist with internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

· 1–2 years of hands-on company accounting experience.

· Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Tally ERP or Zoho Books. Experience with Zoho Books is an added advantage.

· In-depth knowledge and practical experience with GST compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing.

· Familiarity with financial documents like credit notes, debit notes, and delivery challans.

· Experience with e-way bills and bank reconciliation.

· Fluency in English and Kannada is essential for communication.

· Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.

· Added Advantage: Experience with accounting and auditing of e-commerce seller accounts (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart) is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
