Accounting Job Description

We’re looking for an organized and driven Accountant to join our company.
Duties:

• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills
• Experience in VAT (taxazation)
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills in English
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Handling of Petty cash and recording bank transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Collecting payments and Cheques follow up

Experience:

• Accounting: 2-3 years experience
• Candidates with background in Real Estate are preferred.

Education:

• Bacherlor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields.
