Job Summary

The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. This role supports the finance team with accurate record-keeping, reconciliations, and audit preparations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records including ledgers, journals, and general ledger entries.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and financial statement preparation.
• Support tax filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve financial queries.
• Generate regular financial reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial or corporate environments.
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
