Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant for our restaurant in Salem. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software and be well-versed in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts, cash book, and ledgers
• Handle billing, vendor payments, and expense tracking
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Manage GST returns, filings, and reconciliations
• Maintain purchase, sales, and stock records
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants when required
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in restaurant / hospitality industry)
• Proficiency in Tally (Tally ERP / Tally Prime) and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of ledger maintenance and GST filing
• Understanding of basic taxation and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience

Salary:

• As per industry standards (based on experience and skills)
