Job Vacancy: Accountant – Construction Industry

Salary: AED 2,000 – 2500
Location: Sharjah, UAE(spouse visa preferred)

Job Description

We are hiring an Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, support project cost control, and maintain accurate financial records for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks: AP, AR, petty cash, bank entries
• Prepare project cost sheets, expense reports, and financial summaries
• Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers & reconciliations
• Track construction project expenses and ensure proper cost allocation
• Maintain and update accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / similar)
• Assist in payroll preparation & verification of site staff timesheets
• Support monthly financial reporting for management
• Maintain VAT records and assist with compliance (if required)
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
• QUICKBOOKS knowledge is must
• Strong knowledge of project accounting & cost control
• Proficient in Tally / QuickBooks / MS Excel
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
