We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our Finance team, where you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance across the agency.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the agency.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Process payroll, taxes, and statutory filings accurately and on time.
Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to support management decisions.
Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for projects and departments.
Coordinate with internal teams to provide financial insights and ensure cost-effective operations.
Identify areas for process improvement in financial workflows and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (2+ years preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles .

Experience with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.

Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software .

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Effective communication skills to explain financial information clearly.
