Job Description

XFit Gym is a fast-growing fitness brand with multiple branches across the UAE. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the gym, fitness, retail, or service industry (an advantage)
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or similar systems
