We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support our client account management on a remote basis. The role involves maintaining accurate books for multiple clients and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Job Duties
- Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions accurately in SaaS-based accounting systems such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Odoo (not mandatory to know all).
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, match statements with the accounting system, and ensure completeness and accuracy of all client records.
- Process and review supplier invoices, sales invoices, and payment entries, ensuring correct VAT treatment and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, track outstanding balances, and coordinate with clients regarding payments and collection follow-ups.
- Prepare basic monthly financial summaries for each client (sales, expenses, cash/bank position) and flag any discrepancies or unusual transactions.
- Organize and maintain client documents and supporting files, ensuring all records are complete for audit, VAT, and corporate tax purposes.
