About the Role

Abu Al Naga Development is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounting operations within real estate development or contracting companies and strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in closing activities.
• Support project accounting, cost tracking, and expense control.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and cash flow for ongoing projects.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including accurate calculations and timely filings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments when required.
• Support the finance team in any additional accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development or contracting companies in Dubai.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
