Job Description

We are looking to hire a competent and detail-oriented Accountant for our consulting business. The candidate shall be placed at the client premises. The ideal candidate should have a sound accounting background, practical experience, and strong proficiency in Excel to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper books of accounts, including vouchers, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in tax-related matters, including withholding tax and sales tax documentation
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: B.Com (mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Basic understanding of taxation and accounting principles
• Good analytical and organizational skills
