Accountant

Job Summary:

Dots Lab Marketing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee daily financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, local accounting experience, and a proactive approach to supporting the company’s growth. This role combines technical accounting expertise with a practical understanding of budgeting, reporting, and financial planning within a fast-paced, creative environment. Responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance in all financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and timely VAT filings
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper financial controls are in place
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
• Support management with financial insights and analysis
• Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Perform other related tasks as required by the finance team or management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-4 years of accounting experience within the UAE (marketing/advertising industry experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• UAE Driving License

Ability to Commute/Relocate

• Location: Abu Dhabi
• Joining Time: Immediate or within 15 days.
• Must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
