Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
2. RTA-Related Financial Tasks
- Process and manage payments related to vehicle registration, licensing, and fines.
- Prepare and track financial documentation for RTA compliance.
- Ensure timely renewal of vehicle registrations, trade licenses, and permits associated with RTA requirements.
- Handle the accounting and invoicing for fleet management, including fuel cards, tolls (Salik), and maintenance costs.
- Monitor RTA fee structures and ensure proper allocation of costs.
3. Taxation and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT filing and reporting.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, including RTA-specific guidelines.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Manage payments to RTA and other vendors related to transportation and logistics.
- Reconcile RTA-related expenses, invoices, and overdue accounts.
5. Payroll and Staff Reimbursements
- Process payroll and reimbursements for transportation-related expenses (e.g., Salik, fuel, parking).
- Ensure proper documentation for employee expense claims tied to RTA activities.
6. Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports on transportation costs, toll usage, and fleet expenses for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing RTA-related expenses.
7. Fleet and Asset Management
- Track and manage the company’s fleet inventory and ensure compliance with RTA regulations.
- Maintain records for company vehicles, drivers, and related insurance policies.
