Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, billing, taxation, and financial records for our construction projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in handling accounts independently and coordinating with HR, site teams, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, ledgers, and journals
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Handle billing, client invoices, and vendor payments
  • Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI calculations, returns, and compliance
  • Coordinate with banks for payments, reconciliations, and BG-related entries
  • Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
  • Support payroll processing in coordination with HR/Admin
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements
  • Track project-wise expenses and cost reports
  • Coordinate with auditors and consultants as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) preferred
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience, preferably in construction/infra sector
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
  • Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
  • Good understanding of billing, taxation, and cost control
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in construction or contracting companies
  • Exposure to project billing and vendor management
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
