Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting activities for our mobile shop retail business located in Kakkanad. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in retail accounting and mandatory knowledge of GST filing, including sales, purchases, and stock-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounts for mobile phones, accessories, and service-related sales
• Handle complete GST filing including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns
• Record purchase and sales entries with correct GST rates
• Manage stock accounting and reconciliation for mobiles and accessories
• Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring
• Prepare monthly financial reports and profit & loss statements
• Ensure compliance with GST laws and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Accountant (retail or mobile shop experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of GST filing and compliance (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Tally / accounting software
• Experience in retail billing and stock management
• Good knowledge of GST rates applicable to mobile phones and accessories
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in mobile shop or electronics retail accounting
• Basic knowledge of income tax and audit support
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
