Accountant – Construction / Industrial Projects

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The role involves handling bookkeeping, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in accounting for construction, manufacturing, or industrial organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including vouchers, ledgers, and journals
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations
• Prepare bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, and monthly MIS reports
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and bankers as required
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, expenses, and statutory filings
• Support management with financial data, reports, and analysis
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and internal controls

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based organizations is preferred
• Practical exposure to statutory compliances and routine accounting functions

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Tally (ERP), MS Excel, and accounting software
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax provisions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Professional communication and coordination skills
