Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a General Accountant. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing and examining financial records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers, and ensuring statutory compliance. The role also includes handling accounts reconciliation, assisting with monthly financial reporting, and supporting audits as required. Effective communication and collaboration with other departments will be essential to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation
• Experience with Budgeting, Cost Analysis, and Management of Financial Transactions
• Knowledge of Accounting Software and ERP Systems
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Attention to Detail and Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications like CPA or ACCA are a plus
• Experience within the FMCG sector is advantageous
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience within the UAE is a plus. Freshers can also apply as training shall be provided
