We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tally and end-to-end GST compliance. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax filings, and ensuring the financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally (Prime/ERP 9), including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
- TDS Management: Assist in the calculation of TDS, preparation of challans, and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets for management review.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock records in Tally and coordinate with the store/warehouse team for stock verification.
- Vendor & Client Management: Reconcile ledgers with vendors and customers periodically to ensure payment accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as an Accountant.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Tally Prime or Tally ERP 9 is mandatory. Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- GST Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST laws, HSN codes, input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation, and E-Way bill generation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. (M.Com/Inter-CA is a plus).
