Accountant

Role Overview

The Accountant will manage daily accounting operations and support the financial management of the company. This role is operational and best suited for someone practical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries).

· Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

· Manage VAT filings and ensure MOC compliance in Kuwait.

· Coordinate with auditors and banks.

· Monitor payments, collections, and cash flow.

· Maintain records related to sales, inventory, and production costs.

· Ensure proper documentation and internal controls.

· Support management with financial reporting when required.

· Comfortable working with incomplete systems and building structure

· Reliable, disciplined, organized and hands-on.

· Comfortable with deadlines and peak business periods

· Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility

Qualifications & Experience

· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.

· Experience with accounting software.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
