Accountant Required – Construction Costing Experience (Abu Dhabi – Al Wathba)

A reputable construction company located in Al Wathba – Abu Dhabi is seeking to hire a qualified Accountant with proven UAE experience in construction companies and project cost accounting to join its professional team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in construction financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and prepare accounting entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and monitor project cost sheets, cost control, and project profitability.
• Track construction expenses, materials, subcontractors, and labor costs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with project and procurement teams to verify and reconcile financial data.
• Utilize accounting software and maintain organized documentation.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Previous UAE experience in construction/contracting companies.
• Strong experience in project costing and construction cost accounting.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Preferably holding a valid UAE driving license.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
